Clarification!

I didn't realize that one of the items on my 100's list came out wrong. I didn't mean that I didn't like the time I spent in Utah. The only thing that I didn't like about living in Utah was the weather. I struggle with the winters...that's why my next item was about me being a Cali girl through and through. I really was only thinking about weather issues and my dislike for winter Utah's. Sorry for the misunderstanding...I really liked being in Utah to be so close to the Hoopes family and spend time with them...that part I miss terribly...but as far as anything goes...my heart is always in Cali.

I knew what you meant. Utah winters can be brutal. I have to say, I am such an Idaho girl now. The weather here is so perfect....at least right now. I have to admit, winter is very cold and long here. I start to feel a little depressed when it snows in April and is still freezing at night in May. Hopefully next year will be better!

AMEN!!! It's fun to have the snow and all that jazz, but it really stinks when it seems to last forever and I really hate driving in the stuff. My kids hate walking on the ice slicked sidewalks and parking lots...but other than that I like Idaho and Utah. Rexburg for sure will always have a special place in my heart.

Erin...where did you go? I look on your blog all the time & nothing new for a while. Are you too busy reading Breaking Dawn? I am catching up on my memory blog, returning the favor. I have been snowed under & want to catch up. Probably my all time favorite memory is being with you & James when Jarom was born. Such an incredible experience to witness the birth of a child. It is all the more special since he is my grandson. In fact that experience is one of the strongest driving forces behind my education goals in nursing. I have enjoyed being nearby on some of the others. Thank you for letting me share. I have been at your house after births & surgeries & you are amazing at getting well, with minimal complaint from you. You are a trooper. You make the best cakes & cookies. It is no fair you live so far away & we don't get to share those with you. We are back to cake in a 9x13 with plain frosting. I hope you check these old posting once in a while & I hope we get an update soon. Love you, MOM
