The Clutz!

So, yesterday I fractured my foot and I'm loving life right about now. Hopefully it will heal quickly so I don't go insane and can still take care of my children. Any advice would be gladly taken at this moment in time!

Sorry to hear about this untimely accident. Tell me more details. Are you doing okay? Who is getting the kids to bed & up for school? Is anyone helping you? Is James available morning & night? Are you using crutches or a walker? So many questions. I am worried about the kids...how is school?

It stinks!!! I have an aircast and a boot to walk on but they gave me crutches to use until I can put pressure on it without hurting. Unfortunately with little ones running under me all the time it's a little safer without the crutches. James came home yesterday for about 30 minutes to help get dinner on the table and then back to school for extra studying. He didn't get home til after 8 last night so it was pretty tough getting the kids in bed. He is going to do the same tonight but a little later than last night. It is tough but you do what you have to do. The kids are doing pretty good in school. Tank loves to come home and sit down with me to do homework which used to be a struggle. Ana and Jarom are doing well and just like to go with the flow. I'm really proud of them for doing so well right now. The 3 older kids are trying to help out a lot which is great...they did the dishes last night, vacumed, did the laundry and all that good stuff. During the day it's a little harder with a 3 yr old helper although she tries really hard. I'm glad I have good kids that help me out. Sorry we didn't call, it's just a little embarrassing and not much anyone can do. I guess that's what happens. Thanks for your concern, it really means a lot right now!

So sorry Erin! That must be really frustrating. It's amazing how kids step up and help out when they are really needed. I wish I could be there to help you all out. Hope you get better soon!

Erin,

We hope that you get better soon, that is so sad. we would love you on Addy's blog, we just do not have your email. I am not a big blogger and that is why it is taking so long. Love you and miss you.

Erin, that stinks. How long are you supposed to be in your cast/boot? Man, annoyances like this are always a little frustrating from time to time during the period of the event, so hopefully they are few and far between. Glad James is there when he can be. Are you completly up and out that you are bedridden? Oy! I hope it heals quickly. So sorry.
