Nursery Drama or should we say Trauma!!!

Well, today was the first day of nursery for Sariah. When James dropped her off she didn't really cry but a few minutes into Sunday School they brought her in to have us come in with her. James went in and stayed the whole time but wouldn't pick her up so she pretty much didn't like daddy at church. She's usually such a daddy's girl that I couldn't figure out why she bawled when I turned the corner to get her. She tried as best she could to get the huge box of toys out of the way and just wanted to be held. I had to stop myself from crying after all of that. It breaks my heart to see her so upset, but I know she'll get used to it and eventually she'll love "ballerina class" as much as her big sister does.

That is so hard, when they are so upset, but she'll get the hang of it and until then, it is heartbreaking.

I hate it when they cry, but aren't ya so stinkin glad to sit through a meeting and be able to pay attention? What's that like?

I have to admit...it felt a little odd to send Sariah to nursery and not be pregnant too. It's kind of a nice feeling.

Way to break my heart Erin. She is so sad. I hope you have good nursery leaders in your ward. That usually cuts down on the length of time it takes them to adjust. Life is hard, but especially when you don't understand the system yet. Give her some extra hugs from grams.

Unfortunately I don't think the nursery leaders are all that great. It will be rough but I know we'll get through it.
